Are you ready to take on the adventure of walking the Camino de Santiago? Our expertly designed 12-Week Camino Training Program is your ultimate guide to preparing for this transformative journey. The 12 weeks are divided into four phases of training.  You will start by laying a foundation for your program, learning new skills and gradually increasing baseline.  The second phase is where you build your strength and endurance while putting into practice some of the skills you've learned. The Peak phase is the most challenging and prepares you with real-life simulations of your journey.  In the Taper phase you start to rest and recover, getting ready for your trip.

From building endurance and strength to fostering mental and emotional resilience, we ensure you're fully equipped to conquer the Camino and make the most of every step. Each week is designed to progressively build your fitness level. Daily objectives ensure balanced training, covering:

  • Endurance Training: Gradually increasing walking distances.

  • Strength Training: Targeting core and leg muscles.

  • Flexibility and Recovery: Including stretching routines and rest days.

  • Mental and Emotional Preparation: Activities like solo nature walks and reflection exercises.

Our training program is based on a holistic model of development encompassing the body and the mind.  These dimensions were specifically tailored for the needs of someone walking the Camino de Santiago.

This training program assumes a basic level of fitness.
