Socks are essential for maintaining foot hygiene and comfort on the Camino. Choose socks made from moisture-wicking, quick-drying materials like merino wool (best option) or synthetic blends to keep your feet dry and prevent blisters - AVOID COTTON. Look for socks with cushioned soles for added comfort and support during long walks. If walking in the heat of the Summer, consider thinner socks to keep your feet from sweating. Consider packing two extra pairs to rotate daily and wash as needed.
